Good location 15 min walk to downtown. Functional and modern room and luxury bathroom. The helpful staff with great attitude to guests.

The twin room with the fridge and all necessary equipment provided a comfortable night's rest in a great location.

The venue is silent, clean and the location is marvellous just off Blue Lagoon and Keflavík Airport, which the Grund guesthouse was, Reykjavík and restaurants, stores. The hotel has bright and immaculate rooms with spacious bathroom, private bath, as example.

We loved our rooms with all the necessary equipment. the location is lovely - a short walk to Reykjavík, the Golden Circle, and other sights on the Reykjanes Peninsula. It was easy to reach Salthusid, a restaurant located at a medium distance from the hotel, where we had lunch/dinner.

We loved the rooms because they had everything we needed, including a hairdryer and bath sheets.

I recommend the place. Everything was perfect. - the wifi was good. - the hotel was in a marvelous location right by food for breakfast as well as getting to Blue Lagoon. - It also was in a great area. - the staff was helpful and excellent. - They helped with the free parking.

We stayed at Guesthouse Grund for one night before our early flight back to London. Margaret, the friendly and thorough host, greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the cozy room and clean bathroom with a rainfall showerhead. The shared kitchen space was well-equipped, and Margaret even took the time to suggest local attractions and dining options on a map. The location was perfect, being near the Blue Lagoon where we had a reservation. The comfortable bed, good wifi, and the ability to make breakfast at our convenience were added bonuses. We also had the joy of watching the northern lights with Margaret on the property. highly recommend for a pleasant and convenient stay.

I had a fantastic solo trip staying at a guesthouse near the Blue Lagoon. the location was perfect, with easy access to both the airport and the lagoon. the room was spotless and comfortable, and the shared bathroom was huge. the owner was friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay special. I loved the self-serve breakfast and all-day tea/coffee. the homely atmosphere made me feel right at home.

Clean and comfy beds, best sleep ever! Nature surroundings and soothing sounds, wake up refreshed. Great shower. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Guesthouse Grund for a few nights during our trip to Iceland. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the organization and cleanliness of the property. The house itself was sparkling and tidy, and the rooms exceeded our expectations. The bed, pillows, and quilt were incredibly comfortable, giving us some of the best sleep we've ever had. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful, making our stay truly enjoyable. We can't wait to return at the end of our trip and would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Iceland in the future.

The value for money at Guesthouse Grund was excellent. The room was clean, cozy, and had plenty of space for us. The location was perfect, just 10 minutes away from the famous Blue Lagoon. The staff treated us with warmth and were extremely helpful in providing local recommendations.

Breakfast offerings could be improved by adding more variety to the selection.
